【摘要】:Thisguidesuggestsmethodologyforcleaningtests.Thismethodologycanonlybeappliedtoassessproductperformanceontypicalbathroomsoilsandisnotinclusiveofallpotentialsoilspresentonceramictilesorotherbathroomsurfaces.Anassessmentofcleaningperformanceonsurfacesotherthanceramictilecannotbepresumedsincethereisnoconfirmedbasisforcorrelationforthissoilonothersurfaceorsubstratetypes.Theresultsoftestsbasedonthisguideareregardedasdiagnosticscreeningvaluesusefulinformulationstudies,qualitycontrol,andingredientrawmaterialqualification.Theresultsofthisguideshouldbecomparedtocontroltreatments,whichareincorporatedintoeachperformanceevaluation.Theseresultsshouldbeconsideredtoberelativetoallothertreatmentsinthestudyandarenotabsolutevalues.Forinterlaboratorycomparisons,exacttreatmentconditionsmustbeestablishedandthenresultsshouldbecomparedasrelativerankingtothecontroltreatmentsratherthanasabsolutevalues.Thisguideisapplicabletotestingalltypesofmulti-purposehouseholdandbathroomcleaners,whetherthedetergentispreparedbydissolvingasolublepowder,adilutableliquid,orisanon-dilutableproduct.Itmayalsobeusefulforevaluationofproductsorconditionsnormallyassociatedwithindustrialorinstitutionalcleaners.1.1Thisguidecoverstheevaluationofthecleaningperformanceofproductsintendedforuseonceramictiles.Thisguideprovidestechniquesforsoiling,cleaning,andevaluatingperformanceofdetergentsystemsundercontrolled,butpractical,hard-surfacecleaningconditions.Thesoilsdescribedinthisguideareknownintheindustryas"soapscum."1.2Suchsystemsincludeanydetergent,cleaner,orabrasivecleanserintendedforcleaninghardsurfacescomposedofceramictile.Thisguideisnotappropriateforevaluatingperformanceongrout.Thisguidealsoexcludesothersurfacessuchasglass,resilientflooring,syntheticcountertopsurfacesorwashablewallsurfaces.Theproductsforwhichthisguideisintendedincludesolutionsofsolublepowdereddetergent,dilutionsofconcentratedliquiddetergent,orproductsintendedtobeusedfullstrength,forexample,foams,sprays,liquid,powders,orpaste.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.MaterialSafetyDataSheetsareavailableforreagents.Reviewthemforhazardspriortousage.
