【摘要】:Themeasurementoftheresistancetoabrasionoftextileandothermaterialsisverycomplex.Theresistancetoabrasionisaffectedbymanyfactors,suchastheinherentmechanicalpropertiesofthefibers;thedimensionsofthefibers;thestructureoftheyarns;theconstructionofthefabrics;andthetype,kind,andamountoffinishingmaterialaddedtothefibers,yarns,orfabric.Theresistancetoabrasionisalsogreatlyaffectedbytheconditionsofthetests,suchasthenatureofabradant,variableactionoftheabradantovertheareaofspecimenabraded,thetensionofthespecimen,thepressurebetweenthespecimenandabradant,andthedimensionalchangesinthespecimens.Abrasiontestsareallsubjecttovariationduetochangesintheabradantduringspecifictests.Theabradantmustaccordinglybediscardedatfrequentintervalsorcheckedperiodicallyagainstastandard.Withdisposableabradants,theabradantisusedonlyonceordiscardedafterlimiteduse.Withpermanentabradantsthatusehardenedmetalorequivalentsurfaces,itisassumedthattheabradantwillnotchangeappreciablyinaspecificseriesoftests.Similarabradantsusedindifferentlaboratorieswillnotchangeatthesamerate,duetodifferencesinusage.Permanentabradantsmayalsochangedueto1.1Thisguidecoversthedeterminationoftheabrasionresistanceoftextilefabricsusingtherotaryplatform,double-headtester(RPDH).Note18212;OtherproceduresformeasuringtheabrasionresistanceoftextilefabricsaregiveninTestMethodsD3885,D3886,D4158,D4966,andAATCC61.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard:thevaluesinEnglishunitsareprovidedasinformationonlyandarenotexactequivalents.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
