【摘要】:Theproceduredescribedisusedtoobservethebehaviorofsteelsunderexposureconditionsthatretardtheformationofaprotectivetypeofrust.Itisalsousedtoevaluatesealcoatoninsulation.Thispracticeshouldnotbeusedtoranksteelsthatformaprotectivetypeofrustunderatmosphericexposureconditions.1.1Thistestmethodcoversproceduresforconductingcyclichumiditytestswithacorrosivedip.Itsetsforththeconditionsrequiredincyclichumiditytesting.1.2Thispracticedoesnotprescribethetypeoftestspecimenorexposureperiodsnortheinterpretationtobegiventotheresults.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
